About Myself:
I was born in Leola, PA. I'm married to Nancy, and dad to four children, three of them are married and I am grandpa to 12 grandchildren. Our family enjoys going to the “Turkey Roost” at our cabin in Wellsboro, PA. I am a bishop at Sharon Mennonite Church and I also serve as Overseer for the Pastoral Teams at Sharon Mennonite Fellowship, near Fredericksburg and the Lebanon Valley Mennonite Church, My Aetna, PA. At 18, I was drafted during the peak of the Vietnam War in 1966. I received a Conscientious Objectors classification in lieu of military duty and worked as an orderly in the emergency room of the Union Memorial Hospital in downtown Baltimore, MD. After two years of CO Service, I moved to Lebanon, PA and worked for N K Martin & Sons, Inc. I took a 3-year electrician apprenticeship for wiring new homes. My next job was a commercial electrical contractor, Heagy Electric in Fontana, PA for 2 years.
I received my first exposure in sales at Lebanon Electric Supply Co. as counter salesman for 2 years. I began my career in the Power Generation Industry in 1975 with Maxi-Power Generator Systems. At Maxi-Power I was in installations for 8 years and in sales for 2 years. In 1985 I started working for Haller Enterprises of Ephrata as electrical estimator and sales. In the spring of 1995, I returned to Generator Sales with Power Systems in Frystown, PA. In October of 1995 I started as Salesman for DynaTech.
I chose DynaTech for the Christian environment, flexibility in schedule to accommodate my church responsibilities, and I have always enjoyed selling generators.
My life goal is to retire in beautiful Tioga County when there is no noise and light pollution. You can actually see the Milky Way at night, plus the phone rarely rings!!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoy Salads and Seafood. My hobbies are hunting, fishing, crossbow hunting, and travel. As a family we enjoy spending time in the mountains and weekends in our cabins north of Williamsport, PA.
